Sandon Manor Wedding Photographer

This was my first visit to Sandon Manor in Hertfordshire and ooh, I'm in love! Maybe it's my recent forays into DIY of my own period property, but, I found myself oohing and ahhing at silly things, like the paint colours stair runners and the bar tiles. The main house, where Gabbi and her bridesmaids stayed is a labyrthin of beautiful, light filled rooms, absolutely perfect for getting ready in. I'm just going to show you the photos of them getting ready and we can talk again in a moment.

St Marys Hitchin

We headed to St Marys in Hitchin for the ceremony. Where Gabbi was greeted by the kids she teaches dance to. The ceremony was full of laughter and then some epic confetti on the way out. Let's skim over the fact I drove the wrong way out of the one way system when I left...

Sandon Manor Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer

The weather was pretty rough, just like most of this years spring. But, Sandon Manor has some gorgeous alternative spots for photos. While we did make it outside for some group and couple photos, I also found a little corner, with window light and the green tiles of my dreams, for some sitting down couple shots. I'm in love with them. Oh and there are plants hanging from the ceiling!

Gabbi is a dance teacher so the dancing was epic and included a surprise band for Tim. Sandon Manor features this little dancefloor room, behind glass so you can see it from the main barn, and it creates an amazing atmosphere - there's nothing that kills a dance floor faster than a ton of empty space, so this was a dream.
