Pagan Wedding Photographer Hertfordshire – David & Jenni

Pagan Wedding Photographer
David & Jenni had a Pagan wedding ceremony in Hertfordshire. The Pagan wedding was held at a Scout ground that the family had connections with.
David's entrance to the ceremony was quite something. He was preceded by his friends carrying lightsabers, Sonic Screwdriver, Harry Potter wands and Starship Enterprise. Then David appeared, shedding a hooded cloak and he Rick Rolled everyone. Maybe my favourite entrance ever.
The ceremony took place under a beautiful tree. This tree wasn't just any tree though, it was a family tree, hanging from the branches were laminated photos of David and Jenni's family.
The Pagan ceremony was so special, it was all very nature focused and the family were a key part. I loved hearing the explanations of the handfasting ceremony.
While we're at it, let's take a moment to talk about the outfits you're about to see when you scroll down. David and Jenni looked incredible! And I kind of want those silver shoes that David is sporting. There was so much colour, sparkle and practical but gorgeous footwear. And some Gandalf fancy dress.
The meal was a buffet, hosted by the guests, including a cake table of homemade cakes. The food was delicious and there was no designated seating, it had a real garden party vibe where people were wandering around and mingling and eating when they fancied. Jenni and David gave their speech/toast together, which was a lovely touch.
The couple photos took place, in part, under a memorial tree, planted for Jenni's grandparents. It was so lovely to see a wedding in such a personal location, with so much attachment to family.
This was an amazing dance floor! David put together a playlist and just plugged it into a speaker. In my experience, this approach can go either way. But, honestly, this was an incredible dance floor...and this playlist was a perfect mix of cheese and floor fillers, in the perfect order, you can tell a lot of love went into it. Some of my favourite moments were all the dance routines (hi, YMCA, Saturday Night and the Macarena), oh and when 500 Miles played, everyone created a big procession around the tent, screaming "badada."
Oh and yes, this really was a much fun as it looks. Let the pictures roll...
