Motel Studios Wedding Photographer

Motel Studios in London was something of a dream wedding venue for me to work at. I love an industrial wedding venue, the arches, exposed brick and huge sparkly disco ball.

Charlotte and Chris wanted a relaxed party with minimal formalities. We spent just a couple of minutes taking group and couple photos, so that they could enjoy their time with their guests.

One of the "classic wedding things" they did stick to was a big wedding cake. Except this was a huge Italian wedding cake from their favourite restaurant, wheeled out by the groom and best man, covered in sparklers. And they completed the wedding with some tear-jerking speeches and an even more emotional first dance and father-daughter dance.

Now let's take a moment for Charlotte's outfit. Usually it's just the wedding dress I gush about, but, this was a whole striking ensemble. The birdcage veil, the chunky gold jewellery, the massive bow at the back of the dress. Ah, what absolute perfection.

This was just such a fun day, with a lot of tears, laughter and dancing. They had a friend DJ who instantly filled the dance floor. What a day!
