Buckettsland Farm, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire Wedding Photography – Bec & Rob

Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer
This was my second wedding at Bucketsland Farm in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire and this time I got to see a ceremony and bridal prep here too - the accommodation is wonderful, in the pool house with some very quirky elevated bed action. Bec and Rob had their hearts set on an outdoor ceremony and it took place under trees laden with lanterns and books. Their legal ceremony took place a few days before and this gave them real freedom with how the ceremony took place - lots of readings, personalised vows and a lot of giggles through a reading of The Owl and the Pussy Cat. This fondness for the outdoors did not stop there, the farm was bursting with fun things to do - an air rifle shooting range, mini golf, a coconut shy, giant jenga, swing ball and much more that I don't know the official names for! They then headed out, in the dead of night (well, when it got dark) for a first dance illuminated only by the lanterns hanging in the trees. Their first dance song was One Day Like This by Elbow (as discussed over here, this is guaranteed to make me cry!), made even more special by the sing along of, "throw those curtains wide..." entirely acapella after the song ended, in the dark. You had to be there...! There was just so much pretty going on at this wedding - from Bec's gorgeous tea length dress (always a fan of a shorter dress) to the beautiful place settings - if you wandered into my flat, you would see an obscene amount of Harry Potter posters (grown up ones, obviously), so, I got a bit over-excited when I saw that one of their tables was Hogwarts Castle. So, I think maybe I should just set you loose on the ridiculous number of images I've selected for this post!
