Bethany and Matt got married at Milling Barn in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, with a ceremony at St Michaels and All Angels in Abington Pigotts. This wedding was so much fun! I may be somewhat biased because Bethany kept introducing me as her new best friend to her guests. On top of this, there were also a lot of games! I have a great passion for giant Jenga and am pleased to report that the guests at this wedding were actually obeying the “once you touch it, it’s your tile” rule. There was also foosball, croquet and the best DIY photobooth I’ve seen (look at that colourful backdrop!).
The transportation at this wedding was amazing! Not only was there a routemaster bus, which looked particularly lovely winding through the little country roads of Abington Piggots. But, look at that beautiful green wedding car, which was lent to the couple by a friend. Not satisfied with one cake, Bethany and Matt had a whole table of cakes, dedicated to different friends and family. This meant the cake cutting went on quite a long time, as they sliced into each one!
Bethany and Matt’s couple photos are a perfect example of why I love to take portraits in the evening! When I start chatting about golden hour, this is exactly what I mean. It is, of course, an added bonus if there’s a lovely meadow literally right behind the venue.
