Lydia and Patrick were married in Brighton Town Hall - the room was a glorious orange with deep woods and I loved how the guests were grouped around in a horseshoe shape. We then took a trip to some beach huts in Hove, before hitting The Connaught Pub & Kitchen in Hove, which had a gorgeous garden and was decorated impeccably by Lydia. I think you will all agree Lydia looks absolutely incredible! Her dress is a vintage original and the hair, flowers and car all created such a gorgeous 60s feel when she arrived! Of course, Patrick looks quite dashing too in his navy suit with his heirloom pocket watch! Perhaps this vintage feel is why I chose so many black and white images for the blog (although all my couples get colour versions of my black and white edits)! I see a lot of great best man speeches - as someone whose throat dries up the moment I hear of public speaking, I am always impressed by just how comfortable and funny best men are in general. But this one was an exceptional best man speech! It was the format of a gameshow, where Patrick and Lydia's siblings could win prizes for correctly identifying who little bits of trivia were about. I found myself chuckling along despite not being in on any of the jokes…!
