Laura and Jon's wedding was in-between Bath and Bristol, so, when they asked me to cover their wedding I saw the perfect opportunity to make a long weekend of it. My boyfriend was born in Bath and grew up in Bristol, so we stayed with his parents (his Mum makes a pretty amazing packed lunch!) and he showed me some of the sights (well, the suspension bridge...). I absolutely love photographing wedding preparations - there's such a buzz, a bit of chaos and a lot of emotional exchanges between friends and family. Laura had the whole Breconridge Bed & Breakfast just for the bridal party, spread over two floors, which was lovely and I have to say, all of the gorgeous sunlight streaming through the windows along with the super stunning Laura made it extra enjoyable for me to photograph. Their venue was at The Water Mill at Priston Mill in Bath, well hidden through country roads and a really beautiful old water mill, with the cogs visible throughout the centre of the building. It was a beautiful day and the gardens were perfect for the cocktail hour and formal shots. There was also a kids play area behind Priston Mill where I snapped the groomsmen messing around in their tails. Big congratulations to Laura and Jon!!
