Central London Engagement Photographer I can now share with you the rest of Ali and Sam's gorgeous Central London Engagement Photoshoot! Ali and Sam got married last week in a really small registry office ceremony with only witnesses, so, this shoot was a great opportunity for them to get some shots of them as a couple before the day. Our original plan was to incorporate candy floss into the beginning of the shoot, I got out the candy-floss machine we'd been given several years ago for Christmas and spent the night before practising my candy-floss making technique. I'd say I'm now pretty well equipped for a job in a fairground should my photography career go awry. Anyway, while Ali was having her make-up done I was slaving away in the kitchen making massive, photogenic sticks of candy-floss, I was very proud of myself. Alas, the weather was against us, even carefully keeping them under our umbrella they disintegrated within moments of stepping outside and we all huddled under the umbrella to eat the remaining goo before going back to wash our hands. Full of regret that I didn't take a photo of it before we left!! Undeterred, we hopped onto a bus to Central London and braved the rain to get some really lovely shots. Speaking of make-up - the lovely Annabelle Miller came along for this shoot to do the hair and make-up. As you can see, she is obviously a hair and make-up whizz, but, also an absolute joy to be around! Annabelle and I are collaborating on an exciting new service for couples - engagement/couple shoots (you don't have to be newly engaged for a couple shoot!) with professional hair and make-up. Annabelle will come along for the shoot, make you look your best and then make sure any touch-ups are made throughout the day (she's also a pro at watching your bags while you're busy looking glamorous in front of the camera!). While I will still be offering my standard engagement shoot service, I would strongly recommend taking us up on this! Having your hair and make-up done is a really luxurious experience and allows you to feel pampered and prepared for your shoot - it can also help us bring to life some more creative ideas for engagement shoots.
