A little while ago I received an email from Oscar about his engagement shoot - he and Alice really wanted to include our gorgeous local bluebell woods at Heartwood in St Albans, Hertfordshire. I was very excited, I love this place, I have such fond memories of it as a child and I think there's something so magical about those couple of weeks where bluebells spring to life and then disappear. Between us we managed to accurately predict when the bluebells would come out - even if we did have to suffer a bit of mud and some very cold fingers!

Alice and Oscar are returning to Alice's home in Melbourne for their wedding and I'm sure it will be such a gorgeous day, I'm so pleased to have been a part of their engagement shoot.

Oh and seeing as I have such a soft spot for this bluebell wood, here's a little bit of a glimpse at my brother and I a good twenty-odd years ago in the very same.
