London Wedding Photographer

Being a London wedding photographer means I have a huge variety available to me – it’s an absolute dream.

One of my favourite things about a London wedding is that London does registry offices with incredible style. There’s just something special about getting married in a town hall in London that never fails to get me excited as a photographer. From Old Marylebone Town Hall, which has so many beautiful staircases, columns and wood panelled rooms, to Islington Town Hall, with its courthouse style circular rooms. 

I love a London pub wedding – there’s something simultaneously fancy but low key about these.

One of my absolute favourite London pub wedding venues is The Albion in Islington. A short and convenient walk from Islington Town Hall, hidden down a charming little back road, it sports one of the most beautiful pub gardens I’ve ever seen.

The Depot is another, with a great courtyard, but so much space inside that you can easily shelter should the weather not play ball. High ceilings, split levels and an industrial vibe.

The National Trust Sutton House is something truly unique, in Hackney, you get the charming vibe of being at someone’s (rather fancy Tudor) house downstairs, with secret staircases guiding you up to panelled rooms hung with gorgeous tapestries. And then a cosy internal walled courtyard, perfect for standing around with a glass of something and even speeches.

The Town Hall Hotel in East London is a beautiful setting for both getting ready (seriously, those rooms are incredible!) to holding your ceremony and reception. It has a town hall vibe, with circular rooms, wood panelling and grand staircases.

The gorgeous indoor/outdoor Devonshire Terrace by Liverpool Streeet station gives you great views of the London skyline, split levels and a very London vibe.

Kew Gardens gives you a countryside vibe while still being in London. It’s like a little oasis.

If you want to live your Spice Girls music video dreams on your wedding day, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is a great option – after getting photos on that infamous staircase, you can enjoy the incredible windows and high ceilings.

I love a wedding at Clissold House – set inside Clissold Park in Stoke Newington, it has a really laid back vibe, without forfeiting style, with its spiral staircases and window lined rooms.
