Wedding Photographer Hertfordshire – 2018 Year In Review

December 29, 2018 | Weddings

Turn up the volume, full screen this thing and press play for a journey through my 2018.

2018 was - my first wedding in the snow; being dressed wildly inappropriately for a heatwave; SO MANY WEDDING DOGS; pub barbecues; ditching the heels; skipping the speeches; embracing the rain; dancing like no one's watching; tear-jerking personal vows; so much laughter; teeny tiny group shot lists; a whole lot of love. This year my couples have been doing things their way and keeping only the stuff they truly love in their weddings and it's been the best sharing it.

On a personal note, I met my amazing boyfriend this year (hi, Andy!) after getting far too acquainted with the horrors of dating apps. A special mention to the couples I met at the beginning of the year who attempted to set me up with their wedding guests, told me about their Tinder love stories and advised me to cancel dates that would definitely have been a disaster. Apparently no one wants their wedding photographer to be single...!

A huge congratulations to all of my 2018 couples and all of the new engagements out there! And a massive thank you to everyone who included me in their wedding this year! I'm so excited for 2019, to get to party with all of my couples already booked in and to meet more amazing couples before the year is out. If you'd like to be one of my 2019 (or any date in the future, for that matter) couples, message me here. Bonus points for tales of your first date and pet pictures.

The Priory Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer – Rachael & Matt

The Priory Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer Rachael and Matt got married at The Priory in Hertfordshire. The Priory is up there as one of the venues I've worked at the most over the years, and it never gets old. It's an especially great pleasure when it's a nice day...
