Saint James Church, Gerrards Cross Wedding Photographer

Hannah and Carl kicked off their wedding at Saint James Church in Gerrards Cross. They greeted guests together and processed down the aisle together, with their children following them. Saint James Church is a beautiful, striking church with a lot of space for the couple to host some welcome drinks ahead of the ceremony.

The ceremony was very personal, with Hannah's Dad playing the organ and her son playing the violin throughout the ceremony. You'll see just how much laughter there was throughout, which is so lovely to see.

The Plough Sleapshyde, St Albans Wedding Photographer

We all headed to The Plough in Sleapshyde, St Albans for the reception. It's a gorgeous country pub tucked down a couple of winding roads. The garden is absolutely beautiful. And as you'll know if you've ever read my blog before, I love love love a pub wedding.

Being a wedding photographer means you have a ton of opinions on things that most people don't think about. A more casual gathering of guests standing for speeches is one of those things I have strong feelings about. This is always my favourite, it feels way less intimidating and means your photos are full of smiling, laughing or crying faces bunched tight together.
