The Barns at Redcoats Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer

Emily and James got married at The Barns at Redcoats in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This place is one of my favourites...I've been photographing weddings long enough to remember a time before the fancy new barn at The Farmhouse at Redcoats. The barn is gorgeous, the outdoor ceremony space is beautiful and there are cows opposite, what more could you want?

I feel like I always start my blogs talking about the weather - it's an occupational hazard. Or maybe just desperate contemplation of warmer days. This wedding was a hot one (notice the fans hovering around)...which was perfect for Emily and James to make the most of their outdoor ceremony plans.

I love an outdoor wedding ceremony, they make for such a relaxed, garden party feel. And, you know, there's something extra romantic about Emily's veil dancing in the breeze.

Music was a big part of this wedding which is my absolute favourite - there was live music all day, played by family, friends and suppliers.

So, this wedding has some of my all time favourite styling. I mean, The Barns at Redcoats is super gorgeous anyway...but, all the rich colours, custom neon sign, ribbon and tables named after places Emily and James had travelled to. Honestly, there are about 40 photos of the set-up at this wedding and I couldn't include them all, but, trust me, everything was bloody gorgeous.

Oh and Emily's dress with the little removable top, so, she had not one, but two looks. Ah, yes!!

Before I get on with the photos, I want to give a special shout out here to the cows for featuring in the couple photos and trying to eat Emily's bouquet. Emily really loves a cow and so do I.
