Srijana and John were married at St Albans Registry office, followed by a reception at Sandridgebury Farm in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Do you remember the torrential rain we had last summer? It was touch and go as to whether or not their tipi would be flooded! Luckily, it was baking hot in the morning and then rained a little bit throughout the evening, resulting in a beautiful rainbow. The rain did abate for more than enough time to make the most of all the great lawn games Srijana and John has organised. Srijana was incredibly good at the limbo, even in a wedding dress!

Srijana and John pretty much made everything themselves, all the decorations, table settings, games, etc. I absolutely loved the DIY feel, it made the day so unique to them. The couple chose to have a Fish & Chip van instead of a formal caterer, which was just a great idea. Speaking of food, their cake looked incredibly delicious and had adorable personalised cake-toppers.

This wedding was one of my favourite from last year! This was the first of two weddings I covered at Sandridgebury Farm last year. I really hope I can cover more weddings there. Not only is it great to find a more outdoorsy wedding venue in St Albans, but, it allows for so much personalisation. Both weddings I've covered there so far have been so different to each other. More importantly, I just love Srijana and John. They really made the wedding their own and it was just so much fun to be a part of!
