Rosedew Farm, Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales Wedding Photography – Nia & Andrew
Nia and Andrew were married at the beautiful Rosedew Farm in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan. Perhaps it's because I live so far away from any beautiful sea views but, it really was absolutely stunning there (even if there was some terrifyingly strong wind that I was convinced would leave me impaled on some rock below our couple shots location). On top of the gorgeous setting and beautiful colour scheme (how lovely is the teal and pink, so, soft and oceanic), Nia and Andrew are just a lovely, lovely couple and their friends and family were so welcoming. Of course, I knew I'd have a wonderful time when Nia and I met for some herbal tea when she was visiting London for work - we chatted away happily and we definitely could have wiled away the whole afternoon had she not been off to a meeting.
One of my favourite bits of the wedding had to be the mechanical sheep, which the couple had kept a secret from all of the guests. Everyone was so up for it, even the ladies in little dresses donned some of Andrew's shorts under their dresses to have a good go at it. I admit that, had I not wanted to maintain a degree of professionalism, I'd have loved to have a go myself, though, my balance is appalling and that thing is just made of shiny plastic - how anyone managed to stay on is beyond me! Oh and a special mention to Andrew for spending hours before the wedding painstakingly hanging all of those fairy lights - every wedding should have fairy lights!
I'd also like to give a special mention to The Hayloft, the lovely little cottage that my boyfriend and I stayed in for a long weekend while we were in the Vale of Glamorgan, it was really a perfect place to relax after a long drive or a big day shooting.
