Emma and Sahil's wedding was spread out over a few different venues. A ceremony at Mary Immaculate & St Gregory RC Church in Barnet, reception at Kingsbury Barn in St Albans and then evening reception at Ye Olde Fighting Cocks in St Albans.

Mary Immaculate & St Gregory RC Church Barnet

Emma & Sahil held their ceremony at Mary Immaculate & St Gregory RC Church in Barnet. This held special significance to Emma because of her Nan and it was a lovely tribute. This first photo below is such a lovely moment as Emma reaches the top of the aisle.

Kingsbury Barn, St Albans Wedding

I love a wedding at Kingsbury Barn in St Albans. It's a fairly unique venue, in that it's not specifically a wedding venue...and the license means you can't stay into the evening. That said, it is beautiful! It's a long barn, with exposed beams in the ceiling and a lovely courtyard outside.

Emma and Sahil did an incredible job of making this place look amazing too - with flower baskets hanging from the ceiling and their wedding breakfast creating an integral part of the decor. They had afternoon tea, spread across the tables, with vintage tea cups and stands. Oh and the food was delicious - I got a special little box. The scones! The brownies! Yes!!

This was a fusion wedding, with both English and Asian traditions. One of my favourite parts of the day were the wedding games. They proved a little messy, with coins and milky water flying everywhere, but, they were so fun, and everyone got to cheer for their favourite to win.

Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, St Albans Wedding

The evening reception headed through Verulamium Park (with a stop off for couple photos) to Ye Olde Fighting Cocks in St Albans. The oldest pub in Britain, nestled in the park, makes for a lovely cosy wedding venue.

This was such a fun wedding - as you can see, it was all laughs and smiles the whole day. It had such a relaxed feel, with casual venues, just like a big summer day out.
