I'm not sure if this is common with wedding photographers, but, I have a wishlist of wedding venues I'd love to cover a wedding at (supported by an unhealthy wedding blog habit) and Preston Court in Kent has been number one for quite some time. It did not disappoint, it's the most gloriously unique and charming venue - there is a little 18th century church right by the venue, surrounded by daffodils and then there's Preston Court itself, with old steam trains surrounding the car park, horse fields, peacocks and the barn, oh, the barn, you'll just have to look at the pictures to see how stunning it is! I hadn't met with Katie and Michael before the big day, so, I was very excited to meet them - they are one of the warmest couples I've had the pleasure of working with, so full of smiles and eager to make the day wonderful for everyone, oh and let me shout out to Mike's brother, their Best Man, who may be the most organised I've ever met and kept us on time to the minute when we wandered off eager to get horses to look vaguely towards the camera! The ceremony was carried out by the most wonderfully passionate vicar, with help from Michael's father, which made it such a personal, family affair. I seriously loved this wonderful couple and family and this wedding was just perfection. Let's enjoy some photos now...!
