Festival Wedding Photographer Hertfordshire

It's time for an amazing wedding - combine some of my favourites - back garden wedding, heavy on the music and the feel of a big festival wedding.

You might remember Helen and Dom from their engagement shoot at the Barbican, where I developed a hair crush on Helen that will never die. She did not disappoint with the half up/half down curls, adorned with heirloom broaches.

Phew! This was a hot one. Helen and Dom got married in Helen's parents back garden in Hertfordshire in the middle of a heatwave.

Let me set the scene for you, it's 35 degrees, the wedding cake is melting and there isn't a cloud in the sky.

Helen and Dom's friend carries out their ceremony, complete with a ton of personal stories and tears, under a beautiful tree, watched over by horses. Another friend plays the bridal party in on acoustic guitar.

Then the wedding festival really begins - Helen and Dom know a lot of musical people, their guests do mini sets on the stage throughout the drinks reception on the lawn, while guests play garden games. It's a proper festival vibe, even with adorable dinosaur tickets for entry.

Meanwhile, there's a petting zoo around the corner, complete with owls, armadillos and the cutest duck.

The guests are all camping in the field, cooling down in a paddling pool and getting themselves decorated at a face-painting station.

The gorgeous marquee hosts the meal and speeches, with open sides letting some air in.

We go for a little wander through an orchard for couple shots as the sun goes down, where Helen spent a lot of her childhood playing.

Before retiring to the barn for incredible dancing and the (not that melted) dinosaur cake cutting.
