Fiona and Jake were married at Clissold House in Stoke Newington, London. Clissold House is set inside Clissold Park, so our couple photos took us on a little wander through everyone's weekend at the park. This included a very sweet serenade by some kids passing by on bikes. I do love how everyone gets in the spirit of a wedding the moment they see someone in a wedding dress. Just look at the giggles during the couple shots - I had so much fun with Fiona and Jake!

I absolutely loved Fiona's outfit, her very elegant pinky glittery dress and then those shoes! Amazing! Although, I have a suspicion that Fiona didn't much enjoy wearing them as she held off putting them on until the very last moment.

Usually once all the group shots are taken, I slip off for a few minutes to take photos of the room before guests sit down. When I walked into this room my first thought was, "it smells like Lush in here!" Definitely not a bad thing! And then it all became clear, Fiona works at Lush and included some limited edition shower gels for everyone which smelled divine! At each seat there was also a blank canvas, ready for guests to draw a little representation of the day and then trade. Oh and as everyone took their seats for the wedding breakfast they got sorted into Hogwarts houses with some little house badges! The Harry Potter geek in me was very happy at this wedding! There were also some other little Harry Potter touches; heart garlands made from pages from the books and some sly quotes slipped into the speeches.

I love a low-key wedding, all of Jake and Fiona's guests were seated at one big table, so it felt very intimate. In the evening they had casino games for everyone to get involved with (I think I may finally understand roulette after hearing the rules be explained to five separate guests) and a very DIY laptop style DJ set.
